ARHELE PROJECT
ARHELE PROJECT is an avant-garde visual investigation and a monumetal decade-long study that systematically deconstructs the human silhouette to birth an entirely new, bio-morphic mythology. Created over the course of more than 10 years, involving over 100 participants of diverse ages, genders, and ethnicities, and culminating in an expansive archive of over 600 works. Moving beyond traditional figurative photography, the body ceases to be a vessel of personal, social, or cultural identity. Instead, through intense somatic tension and precise, surreal framing, the anatomical landscape morphs into minimalist, alien geometry and fluid organic structures.
Curatorial Structure & Narrative Arc
The body of work is rigorously structured into four distinct thematic chapters, tracing a conceptual evolution from the isolation of the self to the physical intervention of the creator.
Part I: YOU (The Alienation of the Self)
YOU initiates the cycle by confronting the viewer with the uncanny boundaries of their own somatic reality. It is a visual manifestation of internal alienation: the human form is pushed to such physical and surreal extremes that the subject becomes unrecognisable to themselves. The camera acts not as a mirror of documentation, but as an anatomical scanner that strips away personal history, leaving only pure, anonymous form.
Part II: COUPLE (The Synergy of Dualism)
COUPLE expands the narrative into the realm of the dyad. By intertwining two figures—transcending traditional biological or gender constructs—the series focuses on the raw, geometric synthesis of human interaction. The boundaries between the two bodies dissolve, turning relationship into architecture. It is an exploration of proximity, tension, and the fluid nature of human connection where two individualities merge into a singular biomorphic monument.
Part III: PEOPLE (The Collective Organism)
PEOPLE shifts the focus from intimacy to the collective consciousness. When multiple figures interact, individual identity is entirely subverted to birth a singular, mass organism. This chapter investigates contemporary tribalism and the social body. The intertwined limbs and overlapping silhouettes create a complex, chaotic yet rhythmic geometry, suggesting that humanity, in its plurality, functions as a monolithic, living structure driven by shared subconscious impulses.
Part IV: YOU AND ME (The Demiurge & The Artefact)
The final chapter serves as a conceptual meta-climax. Here, the traditional boundary between the observer and the observed is completely shattered as the artist physically enters the frame. By introducing the creator’s own hand overlapping and manipulating the subject's silhouette, the artist transitions from a passive documentarian to an active Demiurge. This physical intervention literally births the “CREATURE” in real-time, bridging the gap between the vision inside the artist's mind and the tactile reality of the photographic medium.
By stripping away the recognizable human context, the body is re-imagined as minimalist, fluid geometry. To mirror infinite variance of human form, the artist expands the visual language into an infinite spectrum of color, deliberately applying the entire color wheel to each piece. This philosophical fusion of anatomy and chromatics culminates in the vibrant, multi-layered mosaics showcased throughout the site.
